9am Every 4th Saturday
Our meetings begin at 9am but most of us like to show up a little early for some good fellowship. Bringing snacks to share is always encouraged. Coffee cake and cookies are always a hit.
Forging the Future
Athens Forge is one of nine chapters of the Alabama Forge Council (AFC) located in Athens Alabama. We are part of a non-profit organization that promotes the knowledge and skills of blacksmithing. Our chapter conducts meetings on the 4th Saturday of each month at Travis Fleming’s Artistic Anvil Blacksmith shop located at 208 Commercial Drive, Athens, AL. Meetings consists of demonstrations with plenty of experienced blacksmiths available to assist and answer questions.
